Warner Bros. Movie World hosts
the Australian Premiere of Silence
Leigh St John was outstanding as the MC for the event, using her legendary charm and quick wit to make the guests at home and introduce the guest speakers
Hetty Johnston, Founder and Executive Director of Bravehearts, told of the importance of getting behind projects like "Breaking the Silence" and Child Safety and Protection expert Professor Freda Briggs AO spoke of the lack of current films and educational material to broach difficult topics like child abuse. Professor Briggs pleaded with the audience to "convince Craig [ the producer of Silence] to make a film like this for boys".
Thanks to Meagan Miller, Marketing and Publicity Executive, Warner Bros. Movie World, and Gold Coast Ambassador, Chris Wheeldon, the 300 plus audience enjoyed an amazing evening.

Silence screens at Cinéma des Antipodes, Saint-Tropez, France.
Festival Director, Bernard Bories, was so enamored with the Silence, when he saw it at the Cannes Film Festival, that he offered pre-selection for official competition in his festival. Mr. Bories had our 35mm print of Silence subtitled in French for the festival.

Silence was part of Short Film Corner, at the 59th Cannes Film Festival.
Thanks to all of the wonderful staff who made it an experience to remember. The success of Silence, while at the festival, was largely due to their efforts, and recommendations, and we remain indebted to them.
